The cover story is simple: you booked a couples photography session. Your partner knows about it, dresses for it, and shows up for it. There's no awkward explanation for why they need to look nice — it already makes sense.
Before the session we have a short planning call. We decide on the signal — a specific moment in the session, a word, a look — so I know exactly when it's coming. I stay close, I stay ready, and when you propose I'm already in position to capture the real reaction: the shock, the tears, the yes.
After the proposal we keep shooting. The session continues as an engagement session — both of you still in the same location, still in the same beautiful light, but now celebrating. Those images are always the most genuine ones I take.

How does a proposal session actually work?
You book it as a regular couples session — your partner just knows you're doing photos together. Before the day, we have a short planning call where we agree on the signal: a word, a look, a moment in the session when you'll propose. When it happens, I'm already close and ready. After the yes, we keep shooting — now as an engagement session.
Does my partner need to dress up without knowing why?
Yes — and that's actually easy to arrange. Since they think it's a couples photo session, dressing nicely makes complete sense. No awkward excuses. You both arrive looking great, and the photos from the proposal moment reflect that.
How far in advance do I need to book?
At least 2–4 weeks is ideal so we have time for the planning call and to choose the right location and light. That said, I can sometimes accommodate shorter notice — reach out and ask.
Can you recommend where to propose in Puerto Vallarta?
Absolutely. Conchas Chinas Beach at golden hour, the cobblestone streets of Old Town, a private villa terrace, or a rooftop with bay views. I'll help you pick the right spot based on what your partner loves.
