Most family photo sessions in Puerto Vallarta look the same: everyone lined up on the beach, squinting into the sun, wearing the same white shirt. That's not what I do.
I start sessions with movement — a walk along the shoreline, kids chasing waves, parents carrying toddlers. The camera stays moving too. Within fifteen minutes, everyone has forgotten there's a photographer present, and that's when the real images start happening.
I work with families on vacation, families celebrating milestones, multigenerational groups, and couples who want pregnancy or newborn-adjacent portraits during their Vallarta trip. Every session is different.

What is the best time of day for a family beach session in Puerto Vallarta?
Golden hour — the last 45–60 minutes before sunset — is ideal. The light is warm and soft, temperatures are cooler, and children are usually more cooperative after a full day at the beach.
How do you handle kids who don't want to pose?
I don't ask them to pose. I watch them play, interact with their parents, and capture what happens naturally. The best family images come from movement and genuine emotion, not manufactured smiles.
How long is a typical family session?
45–60 minutes is standard. Longer sessions can work for larger families or multiple generations, but most families get everything they need in that window.
What should we wear for our family photos?
